I share my three gluten free and vegetarian holiday healthy dippers for hummus, including sweet potato chips, parmesan pizza twists and rosemary baked zucchini fries.
Does Mayo have gluten?
Mayonnaise or “mayo” is typically made from naturally gluten-free ingredients: eggs, oil, vinegar, lemon and sometimes mustard/mustard seed or other spices. Mayo brands that have a gluten-free label have passed thorough testing and are safe to eat for people with celiac disease.
Can you eat hummus everyday?
While it’s a decent amount to get you toward that daily fiber goal, it won’t wreck your digestive system. It’s all about moderation. Individual food sensitivities aside, chickpeas and hummus are perfectly safe to consume as long as they don’t make up your entire meal.
Can I eat hummus by itself?
Hummus on its own is already pretty wonderful. The chickpea-based spread packs a satiating combo of protein and fiber, so it’s the perfect healthy snack with veggie slices. Not to mention, you can flavor it any way you like with the right stir-ins (try these 4 delicious combos).
